We know that navigating technology can be challenging sometimes, but don't worry - in this article, we'll walk you through troubleshooting tips for any hiccups you may encounter with the SUPER73 App.
No Bluetooth connection / Bike does not pair
If you try to pair your bike with the app and the display number of your bike does not show up as usual, there might be an issue with the Bluetooth connection. To troubleshoot that, follow the next steps:
Step 1: Set yourself up for success
The SUPER73 app pairs with the bike via Bluetooth through the diamond display equipped on most models.
Note: The ZG and the SG1 are incompatible with the SUPER73 App.
To pair the app with the bike you need to activate
- stable internet connexion (wifi or 4G)
- Bluetooth connection
- GPS localization
Once the bike is connected to the app, internet connection and localization are not necessary anymore to use the app features, unless you want to use the turn-by-turn GPS.
Step 2: Check the app version and phone software
Ensure the following:
- You use the latest version of the App (The latest App version is mentioned in the App Store or Play Store)
- Your phone software is up to date. Check for available updates in the settings of your phone.
Step 3: Reset the Bluetooth connection
- Turn the bike on,
- Unpair the bike from the App and then close it,
- Open the phone’s Bluetooth settings, and find the Bike Bluetooth ID under "Bluetooth devices"
- Click the “Info” button and press “Forget This Device”
- Turn Bluetooth OFF for at least 5 seconds, then back ON
- Open the App and reconnect with the bike
Step 4: Reset the display
Sometimes the display's Bluetooth signal may be disrupted. Please perform a display reset:
- On displays with a red tag press down the “O” button (see picture below) for up to 20 seconds until the display shuts off and let go. The Display should restart now.
- For displays marked with a green tag, carefully unplug the display cable while the bike is powered on. Ensure you pull on the plug itself, not the wire. Then, reconnect the plug securely.
Step 5: Contact us
Should none of the above solve the issue, please click HERE to contact our Customer Support Team. For quick and efficient help, please provide us with a screenshot of the issue, your display serial number, invoice and frame number of the bike.
Unsuccessful firmware update
Did your attempt to perform a firmware update fail? Try the following steps:
- For instructions on how to perform a firmware update, click HERE.
- Ensure you have enough battery and a stable internet connection before updating your bike. The phone will have to stay on for the duration of the update.
- Reset the display while the bike is still on to restart the update. (See step 4 "Reset the Display" in the instructions above)
- If the bike hasn't been updated for a long time, it can be that multiple updates have to be performed until the bike is properly updated to the latest version. Therfore, perform as many updates as needed until the request disappears.
