The SUPER73 App now supports a single owner per bike for improved security. The first person who pairs with the bike becomes the owner. Other riders can still use the bike, but they must be granted access by the owner. As an example, a family could share the same bike, and each person could connect to it whenever they want, no matter who else is paired to it.
How to Add Another User:
- Open the SUPER73 App. and tap More at the bottom of the dashboard.
- Select Bike at the top of the menu.
-
Tap Users and then + Add User.
4. The QR code and access code will appear, which you can share with another rider.
How the New User Connects:
- Open the SUPER73 App and Tap Pair a Bike.
- Select Pair with Access Code.
They can then either:
- Scan the QR code from the owner’s phone, or
- Enter the access code manually.
Please note that this access code is only available in the original owner's App. Scanning any physical QR Code on the bike will not work for security reasons.
If the other rider is not nearby:
- Tap Share Code on the Add User screen.
- Send the code via text or email.
Note:
- Access codes are valid for 24 hours.
- If the code expires, generate a new one from the same menu.
Ownership Notes
- The first user who pairs with the bike becomes the owner.
- The owner can grant access to additional users.
- If the owner unpairs from the bike and no other users remain, the next person to pair becomes the new owner.
Important:
For groups frequently sharing bikes, it’s easiest if everyone unpairs after each use instead of repeatedly sharing access.
If your bike is going in for service, unpair it beforehand so the mechanic can connect if needed—and make sure the service shop unpairs it when you pick it up to avoid access issues.
