Our European models don't come with the chain guard due to the fact that our bikes are equipped with an 8-speed gear system (all bikes besides the Super73-ZG model).

Adding a chain guard over our 8/10-speed gear system would interfere with the performance of the gears. The US bikes are adding a chain guard because their bikes have only one gear.
